Softies

These two softies are going to Meet Me At Mike's for The Mirabel Foundation.

Making a doll is far more harder than making animal or monster softies. This doll is my first attempt of making without pattern.

Hope they can make someone happy.

Pan Mee

So Aidan's papa has started to miss Malaysian food since he has not made a trip yet since early 08. He made this pan mee.

In The Making

I discovered about The Mirabel Foundation a while ago. Meet Me At Mikes is organizing this great contribution for them the third time this year.

I am glad that I have time to make mine and participate in this contribution rather than just donate money.

Bread Top

I still prefer Asian style bakery. I am so glad to find out that there are more and more these types of bakery around here. Especially Bread Top, besides Chinatown, they have one at Chatswood and another at Eastwood.

Aidan was drooling once I took out the cake. He was singing the birthday song, thought that it's his birthday.

Sling Bag

Finally manage to finish sewing this bag for Aidan. However, it's a bit too big for him. Hmm... I should have made it into a backpack for he could house his treasure, the pug and hippo.

Something I Bought And...

Ever since Aidan's born, I have bought several things for him and regret. Such as these series of DVD, and I have two, lying in my cupboard back in KUL. I wish I am in the states that I can get a refund now. HERE! They are just a waste of money and I am just plain silly that DVD like this can entertain Aidan while I get to rest when he's just a few months old. There are so many things out there targeting new mom that are just rubbish.

Rainy Day At The Beach

Last month is the driest September we ever have and this month is the wettest October.

We went to the beach before the heavy down pour. The beach was crowded as there were surfing and swimming classes for kids.
